Inspired by miracles and manifestations, Mirabilia created magic with a soft, blurred aesthetic to bring out the mysterious ways of the world and pay an ode to nature. Throughout the feed you could find romantic poetry of the 19th and 20th Century to showcase the depth of Mirabilia, which only words can capture.

Highlighting vivid silhouettes and bold prints, while maintaining the poise that the outfits exude, Momentum was born from the idea of recreating the joyous chaos of living. The collection showcases the buzz of life, the rush that helps us move against the crowd, and gain Momentum. The vision for the shoot included fast-paced movement, blurred shots, juxtaposition of colours and monochrome with blocks.

Momentum found its way to social media with a tasteful blend of pictures in motion, videos that brought out the pace of life, and extra attention to details of the garments. With a slightly futuristic vibe, the layout included black and white images and structured collages of the outfits.

Lanes of Marrakech was inspired by a walk through the Lanes of Morocco, drawing from its colourful and complex architecture. The intricate mosaic work on the ceilings and walls became the centre point of the design. Each tiny element of the mosaic seen here is actually an individual vector, ultimately put together to create a larger pattern; a reflection of how each small piece was part of a larger architectural design. Two completely different colour palettes were applied on the artwork – The blue palette being closer in reference to Moroccan shades; whereas the warmer palette adds freshness to the same pattern.
Art Direction (Photography)
The images convey the maximalism of Morocco against a minimal set which immediately transported one to Marrakech. The walls of the set were painted to imitate mud walls, and achieve the warmth of the desert terra, which carried a hint of the sun within itself. The souks of Morocco are delightful places filled with fantastical objects and homegrown earthenware. This influence was extended to the props chosen – urns that are found in every souk.

Est Fera: A wild place
And so from the wilderness emerged something softer and more beautiful than one could ever imagine. Hand drawn illustrations of nature’s most beautiful and ‘wild’ plants, found in the unlikeliest of places came together in these garments. A mix of plants found underwater and on land were composed together to create patterns where they balance each other and yet carve their own path as they flow outward. These were later digitized and then printed and embroidered onto the garments.

A surreal vibe, achieved through soft ombres, uncut flowers and dreamy expressions.

For All That Jazz, the Winter Festive 2019 collection, we were inspired by the Art Deco movement that debuted in Paris in the 1920s. Symmetrical, geometrical and pleasing to the eye, this architectural trend soon evolved into a cultural phenomenon. While creating the patterns, the rule of symmetry was kept in mind, and monolines were used to digitally create the design. Our patterns came to life across garments in print, foiling and beadwork.
Art Direction
Our photoshoot was aimed at capturing old world charm, recreating the magic of the era. A tribute to the remnants of the Art Deco movement.

Smoke screen stages and risqué cabaret, a fast-paced Gatsby like affair. The digital media design for Radical turned to the symmetry and simplicity of Neoclassicism, but sans its traditional approach.
SCOPE OF PROJECT:
Logo Design
The approach for Studio Radical is rather unique for it looks like a ribbon, uppercase R and a lower case r, all in one.
Social Media - Campaign Launch
A collection inspired by Australian Aboriginal art, Everywhen made its way to social media in an interesting blend of stills and videos — supported by a dash and dot pattern, designed to bring out the texture of the garments.
