Stylefile is an annual event in Kolkata, wherein you
find the best of lifestyle, fashion and art. Each year our
team creates a unique theme for their visual communication.
THEME 2019: D/VERGENCE
D/VERGENCE questions the existence of straight lines and our innate compulsion to keep within them. In 2019, Stylefile emerges out of preconceived boxes, and urges you to do the same. The invite introduces the theme textually and visually. We also added edge with the introduction of Personal Shopping, encouraging our shoppers to get out of their comfort zone and Step Out Of Line.
For their digital media campaign, we created lines in all forms and directions, making it appear as a graphical explosion of something which can otherwise seem very straightforward.
Introduction of Personal Shopping in Kolkata meant we had to show our audience how each stylist is different from the other, so they know what to expect while getting styled by them. The Old Bungalow, the site of the exhibit, with its colonial setting was a natural choice for the shoot.

THEME 2018: URBAN GEOMETRY
Urban Geometry is an ode to the stark and bold Concrete Jungle that we live in. Art and Fashion constantly evolve alongside changing landscapes. The invite is our graphical representation of the same.
Kolkata is known for its heritage and striking architecture. Our digital media was a collision and convergence of patterns and structures belonging to the world of fashion and architecture.
THEME 2017: MAKE FASHION FUN AGAIN
Why must fashion always cause anxiety and be overwhelming? Why must a shopping experience be treated as a mission rather than an adventure? This was our call out to making fashion fun again (no points for guessing the inspiration for this!). Vintage pastels and fonts along with carnival illustrations were created to promise a day of fun and frolic.
THEME 2016: THE GREAT MIGRATION
As autumn turns, bringing with it a chill in the air, its time to celebrate the shift in the season, moods and fashion. This invite was designed using a series of hand-drawn illustrations, with unique patterns and shapes being used to complete these drawings.
THEME 2015: DECONSTRUCT. CONSTRUCT.
Because construction and deconstruction lie at the heart of fashion & art. This invite was a first, with a combination of a multitude of techniques in one visual - ranging from embossing to laser cutting to screen & digital printing.
THEME 2014: THE OLD BUNGALOW
The Old Bungalow is synonymous with Stylefile. It is in the lawn of this colonial bungalow, on a winter's day that the magic happens. It is here that people flock as they seek the extraordinary. And that is what this invitation is a celebration of.
