UMI - An Ode to the Ocean. This collection was inspired by creatures from the depths, reflected through Japanese art and culture. Our hand drawn illustrations were inspired by sea creatures and meticulously translated onto the garments.

Photography

There were a total of 3 shades used on the garments - black, white and red, with touches of gold. Similar shades were chosen for our setting, a nod to traditional Japanese art. Jupiters look was kept at sharp and strong.

A poetry book, a post card and hand embroidered packaging - vintage charms further enhance the already mystical and enigmatic nature of UMI. A true ode to the culture of the Japanese.
