Olivia Creamery

Olivia Creamery is an artisanal ice cream brand with a brand ethos of spreading love and happiness through their desserts.

Packaging Design

The festive packaging for Olivia focused on the beauty and detailing of Victorian architecture. It was chosen as the subject due to its elegance and strong English roots that were common with the brand as well. The trickiest bit was adapting the design into varying proportions and shapes. The production process also required significant sampling to understand what techniques would work best with a design as intricate as this one. Finally, the choice of color was also unique in comparison to the pastel shades used previously for the brand.

Art Direction

For some of the images, we moved away from the pastels common to the brand, and put the desserts in the spotlight with darker and more festive backgrounds to showcase their richness. The art direction followed the ideology of making the product and the ingredients the hero.

Social Media

Olivia’s social media focuses on the joy ice cream can bring to your life, keeping the brand identity in mind with a lot of pastel colours, a warm tone, and deep engagement with the audience. Whereas earlier the brand followed an extremely organic approach, we have now added some trending and interactive concepts to keep the audience engaged.

Packaging Design

2023 was a year of experimenting with various looks for the brand packaging. We started the year with the Sundae Art Box with illustrations of the ingredients that go into this DIY kit. With great attention to detail and clear labelling and instructions, the packaging was interactive to make the box a truly immersive experience. This was followed by designs for a limited edition collection that resonated with the upcoming festivals with its delicate floral approach. We closed the year with some navy blue packaging combined with the classic green box that served as a birth announcement.

Art Direction

Inspired by cosy corners that radiate warmth, the shoot focused on building a lifestyle where you could relax, find your moment of peace, and indulge in your favourite dessert. The visuals recreated a happy place where dreams come true.

Social Media

Olivia’s digital presence captured the essence of an utopian world of decadent pleasures and sublime sweetness, following the English palette of the brand.

Packaging Design

Creating a moodboard through patterns, these special boxes for Olivia were inspired by pink skies, lush gardens, and flowers in full bloom in Spring.

Art Direction

The mood for the shoot revolved around celebrations in the English summer – wispy flowers, cool morning breeze, an English breakfast in the garden, and Olivia to keep you company.

With the spotlight on the joy of life, Olivia’s social media brought back lazy summer afternoons spent fantasising about beauty and indulging in the good things life has to offer – like ice cream.

Website

An extension of the brand language, the website was made for scrolling through sumptuous desserts at all times of the day.

The moodboard for the shoot was inspired by childhood memories, extravagant travels, exotic flavours, luxurious experiences and all things sweet. The visuals were an extension of the stuff that dreams are made of.
